Blobfish are shorter than 30 cm. They live at depths between 600 and 1,200 m (2,000 and 3,900 ft) where the pressure is 60 to 120 times as great as at sea level
On the 12 of September 2013 the blobfish got named the world's ugliest animal. On that list also was kakapo
and in the book this little boy named Chris was not happy about it so he made a poster and took it to school. At news time he shared his poster and the kids thought it was good. The next day some kids brought in sign to save their favorite animals. One little girl brought in a sign reading The blobfish is cute. So people may think that the blobfish looks like a big blob of jelly that fell on the floor.
