On the 23rd rd-of September  Ohaeawai primary Rugby league went to the Rugby league tournament in Kaikohe. We won of corce 1st place and we are going to the big tournament. Here are some photos

On Thursday we won the Whakapakari tinana shield.At Ohaeawai pf\primary we have been wating a long time for this shelied and we fanily won it.

Life Education Trust with Harold and Bridget

On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Harold was here. On Wednesday and Thursday Room 2 went into the mobile classroom. Waiting at the door of the multi coloured trailer was the lovely Bridget.  Bridget was yelling  “When you walk into these doors you commit to these rules.”  When you have a question you put your hand up”. “Yes Bridget”. We all replied.   “And the second rule is you must sit on the  biggest muscle in your body your gluteus maximus .  “Yes Bridget.” We all replied. “The third rule is to never call out.” “Yes Bridget.” We all replied. “So if you all got that come on in  but let your teacher in first.” When we went in the classroom we learnt about an upstander and how people see you different to how you see yourself. We learnt about drugs and why they are bad. We have all had drugs these are just some drugs, Panadol, wine, beer, and marijuana.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Cross Country

Cross Country

BANG!!!!!!!! the 2015 cross country was under way, I was only jogging because I wanted to save my energy for the end. The cross country was held at Ohaeawai primary. And there was Kaikohe West ,Tautoro,Kaikohe East, Kaikohe Christian School.Kerikeri Christian School ,Kura Kaupapa o te Maori  Kaikohe,Pakaraka ,Waima.

I  could hear all the Kaikohe West kids chanting Go Mase win the race Go Mase win the race Go Mase win the race !!!. When the final paddock came I could see that a Tautoro kid had finished all ready but I kept my hopes up  and started sprinting and then I jogged . My friends  Arama , Konrad , Tim , and Sonny  were yelling “go Rydog go Rydog go.”

I gaped it and I  passed one person but before the end  I started to slow down and he passed me again.  When I made it in the gate I said to myself I'm so glad  that that's over. I sat down and had some food and a gargantuan drink. I scrambled onto the grass and lay there.

Blobfish

Blobfish are  shorter than 30 cm. They live at depths between 600 and 1,200 m (2,000 and 3,900 ft) where the pressure is 60 to 120 times as great as at sea level

On the 12 of September 2013 the blobfish got named the world's ugliest animal. On that list also was kakapo

and in the book this little boy named Chris was not happy about it so he made a poster and took it to school. At news time he shared his poster and  the kids thought it was good. The next day some kids brought in sign to save their favorite animals. One little girl brought in a sign reading The blobfish is cute. So people may think that the blobfish looks like a big blob of jelly that fell on the floor.
