What I KNOW

That the bald eagle lives in the mountains. That the sparrow lives in the cities and towns.

That the woodpecker lives in  the forest.

What I WANT to know

How the bald eagle lives and what he eats. What mountains do the bald eagles live in. Why does the woodpecker live in the forest.Why do sparrows live in the city.

What I have LEARNED

The the bald eagle lives in the north west coast of America. Woodpeckers are known for tapping on tree trunks in order to find insects.

This is the last week of cooking and we are make strawberry ripple it is going to be so yum  and I am bringing
Caster sugar
Joseph is bringing a stick blenda

the year that was

At the Waimate North show 2015 I was doing kapa haka and I was in the zone  ready to pukana. When we were on stage I was sunburnt and it stung. My friend Joseph seen a drone and he pointed at it . Whare Sally slapped him on the shoulder and said Joseph !!

Kamo hi!!!!!!!!!!!! Tai stared the haka and we did it as loud as possible and finaly the end  I hopped of and went to my mum and then got slushy yummy yummy

he flavors where tiger blood blue bubblegum and blue cotton candy and we hopped in car and we drove home it was a fun  day.

I got home and had a big snoooooooooooooooooooooze!!!

Ingredients

Rice

Tuna

Seaweed  hot sauce (optional)

Sushi powder

This week we are making sushi

What we are bringing

Joseph sushi brought sushi seasoning and a sushi roll, tuna sour cream, some more seaweed for wrapping cumber.   

Jaydon has brought the avocado to put in the sushi

Riley has brought tuna and chicken  

Instructions

1 Cook a bag of 500g of rice in a 600ml pot of water.

2 Mix the cooked rice with sushi powder

r in a shallow tray.

3 Place a sheet of seaweed on a bamboo mat.

4 Spread the rice evenly on the seaweed sheet leaving about 2cm at  the top and 0.5cm at the bottom.

5 Place the fresh ingredients in the center of the rice.

6 Rap and roll the seaweed with the mat.

7 Cut into even pieces about 8 to 10 pieces.

8 Dip lightly in ( sashimi / soy sauce ) mixed with wasabi.
