Friction Science Report


Our Scientific Report - 2015
Scientific reports have 3 parts:
Beginning.
Paragraph 1:QUESTION:Write a question or state what you are trying to find out.
How far will a Car go on what surface.
Paragraph 2:THESIS: Write what you already know about the topic.
That vinyl goes not as far as ice. And I know that because there is and game of friction.
Paragraph 3:HYPOTHESIS: Write what you believe will happen as a result of your experiment.That the carpet will go the furthest and that dirt will fail.

Paragraph 4:Equipment and Materials: Write a list of the equipment and materials you will need to conduct your experiment.

Paragraph 5: Write a step-by-step record of what you did. You can use numbered sentences.

push the car along on dirt and measure it
Push the car along on wood and measure it
Push the car along on carpet and measure it
Paragraph 6:Results: Write what you noticed happening as a result of what you did.
That we were successful and we did not go off track so often.  I might of pushed a bit too hard and some other mistakes.
Conclusion
The car went slow on dirt, carpet was the second fastest and wood was the fastest. Wood was 6.66m. Dirt was 4.23m.Carpet was 6.32m. So my thoughts were wrong.
