Art with the Taniwhai

The Taniwha  

This week we have been making a fearsome Taniwha.

Miss D has been Teaching us how to make a Taniwha.

Mine has a Taiaha and strong muscular body.

I learnt that when you are blending you need to make sure that you can not see the two different color lines.

When you shade you need to make sure that the dark part is dark enough to blend with the lighter part.

We were told  lots of story about the beasts so we get a fair Idea.

I learnt to point the rifle not to high and not to low  and if you are going shooting make sure that you have a firearms licence and good experience so no one gets shoot.

Yay first week back at school

Hello we are doing equal  and simplified  factions and models of  chocolate factories.

Here is the all of my interest and learning for week 1 term 3.

• Fundraising , this term we have our ski trip and we and created   some amazing ideas to make some money. There is records day were you compete to win the title  and you pay 1 to try to win title. Olympics  day  were you dress up and you pay one dollar entree fee Cross country and fun food Friday were you choose a country  and make food from there. 
• We have been making movies and the base of them was called SAMR                  That stands for Substation Augmentation Modification Redefinition   and we are making movies  about Lake Omapere. my group has chosen these two questions. How the lake was used back then  and How the Lake is used now.
• On the other side of all of this in Reading we have been using thinking hats which are what we use to help us under stand our story more  Blue-Thinking Green-creativity Yellow-benefits red-feeling  black-judgement white-information.
• I am doing green and my story is fair trade chocolate and how that works is when The Africans send over dried cocoa beans and we make it into chocolate and send it back over to them and we get to sell some to. Here is my  Example.
  
  
  
  

Maths

Hi Today we did a maths post test and I got a huge shock when I got this as my result.100 PERCENT WOW!!
Never would have thought I got this.
 I have learnt more about analog clocks and digital clocks.
At the start of term 2 we did and time pre test and I got 65 percent but this time in the post test I got 100. PERCENT.
THIS IS SO AMAZING.

Fire Brigade cup

Yesterday we Had our Fire Brigade cup on.
I played Soccer  I was  Mid fielder and I was good at it.
The ball was hard the blood was pumping the chill was coming on. My friend Arlo
Was the best in the team.   We won all our games apart from one. There were 4 sports including hockey , soccer , rippa , and netball.
It was a fun day.
this was my last  Fire Brigade cup .
